Summer Forum for THESIS customers

On the 17th and 18th August, Haulmont held a Summer Forum for THESIS customers. Clients from various industries including financial, insurance and public sector organisations met in Samara to discuss topics of interest and their experiences of using THESIS.

The Forum opened with a seminar which showcased expansions to the product range and plans to launch THESIS in other markets across the globe. THESIS development and product management staff explained the process of releasing new versions of the system and how expansion projects are managed. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the CUBA Platform – a Java-based development framework which THESIS and all Haulmont products are built on.

"The event is gets bigger every year with more and more customers attending to discuss key trends and share knowledge. The Forum is a great opportunity for clients to switch from every day issues to more global topics, spend some time with the Haulmont team and talk to other like-minded customers about using THESIS,” commented Alexander Nazarov, THESIS Sales Director.

Clients were particularly excited about the imminent release of the THESIS mobile app and version 4.3. There was also a Q & A session in which clients could benefit from each other and share best-practice use of THESIS.

"It was a great opportunity to learn more about THESIS and their ambitious growth plans, ask questions and share experiences with like-minded colleagues,” remarked the Head of Administration at Stupinsky Chemical Plant.

Following on from the day of seminars and workshops, clients were invited to dinner to continue the discussions in an informal atmosphere, with the day finishing with a boat tour on the Volga River.

"THESIS Summer Forum successfully combined important updates and seminars with more casual and informal catching up. It was great to see the staff at Haulmont keen to talk about our experiences of using THESIS to continue building on a great product. The trip was also a lovely opportunity to enjoy Samara,” said Alexei Yuryev, Business Analyst at EnSoft.
