2018 highlights for THESIS

2018 was an exciting year for THESIS. The year saw us expanding globally with new customers launching in the UK as well as our more established territories. We launched THESIS in the UK & Ireland by exhibiting at our first UK show, the AIIM Forum Europe. This is an industry-leading event with thought leadership pieces and expert opinion around Digital Transformation and the many information management challenges that underpin it.

The successful UK launch was followed by our first customer in America, TAB Bank. The organisation has been a CUBA Platform client for three years and we are delighted to welcome them on board with THESIS as well! Additionally, we implemented THESIS in Hong Kong for the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank which ranks 70th amongst Forbes’ complete list of the 2000 largest public companies worldwide.

As a result of our continued growth in Russia and the CIS region, we opened new offices in Vladivostok and Almaty. This has improved our relationship with existing clients in Kazakhstan and the surrounding areas, as staff are able to communicate with THESIS specialists without any time zone issues.

We also released two new versions of THESIS across the year; THESIS 4.2.4 and 4.3 which built on the existing capabilities of THESIS to enhance our Content Services offering for businesses and organisations looking to take a modern and forward-thinking approach to document management and workflow processes. New features included the ability to complete tasks such as document approval within Outlook, native compatibility with Oracle Databases and the ability to block users from starting processes that have already been completed and therefore duplicating work.

The new mobile app, available on both iOS and Android, is an exciting feature for the product as it allows users to manage workload from anywhere in the world, on the go. Even if the user isn’t connected to the internet at the time, any actions will be saved and synchronised with the server when the connection is restored.

The popular IT website, Global CIO, published a comparison of key content management vendors in the Russian market. The review rates the platforms based on several criteria including flexibility, platform technology, ease of implementation, user-friendliness, ability to fit into a ready-made IT infrastructure and potential for expansion and scale. THESIS ranked extremely highly across the board and we were delighted to see the platform marked as the most technologically advanced of the products reviewed.

We are all very excited by the successes of 2018 and working hard to deliver even more for our clients in 2019.
